I AM NO LONGER SELLING CARDS AS I HAVE COME TO AN AGREEMENT WITH AN AUCTION HOUSE.  I AM ONLY CATALOGGING TO HAVE AN IDEA TO SEE WHERE THE BIDDING IS TO BEGIN AS PER THE CLAUSE AND A MINIMUM PRICE I'D BE WILLING TO SELL AT.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE INDIVIDUALS I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SELL CARDS TO AND BEST OF LUCK TO THE SELLERS AND EVEN MORE TO THOSE OF YOU COMPLETING AND BUILDING YOUR OWN COLLECTIONS.

BRICSHOUSE OF CARDS

Important things when you buy from me to know

PRICING HOW IT IS SET.

*****  I only use RAW Ungraded Pricing (except for unopened cards/sets, which I explain below) and set my price at 73% of that price.  That provides you a profit on the card IMMEDIATELY and myself as well because most of these cards I bought.  I DO NOT INCLUDE E-Bay sales it is damaging to pricing because people overprice and buy their own card to give a false sense of card value..  My 73% pricing stays that way so as the card increases in value your savings is even greater.

SHIPPING ...straight forward and simple.

$100 or less the buyer pays for shipping - Someone buys a $0.01 card. paying shipping on my end just doesn't make sense.

Above $100 - $200 The cost is split evenly 50/50

Above $200 - I cover shipping charges

CARD CONDITION

I have several seasons of TOPPS Baseball in Unopened Sets these cards are listed at Mint Condition with the pricing set from Grade 9 &10 averaged out and put at 73% of that average.

All other cards are listed as VG (very good).  Almost all cards are higher in condition than this due to me being an owner of a Trading Card store years ago.  Feel free to ask about any cards condition, but nearly all are better in condition to create even more profitability on your card purchase.

I do a pre-shipping examination of the card and if the card has creases or chipping going on I notify the buyer that this card is not in sellable condition and remove the card as well from my inventory and will not sell a card in said condition.  You shouldn't be purchasing a card that I wouldn't buy myself.

COLLECTION

There are cards for every level of collector.  From individual cards you might be looking for to complete a set all the way up to the serious collector (I have 2 Walter Payton RC.s worth around $80K to $100K together.

Cards in all major sports and more.  I even have I Love Lucy unopened packs, WWF cards, Desert Storm cards and personally think the best buy in my collection is on the KMART 20th Anniversary cards where 73% of price are a real value addition to any collection.  Most cards have above a $25 Individual market value.  With my pricing minus a 73% off an ungraded Market Value makes the price so you are basically getting 4 cards for the price of 3 in that set.  Plus these cards are in "A much higher condition than VG".  As I just said this is a great set at a fantastic price if I say so myself and as a serious collector would be after them.  Good Luck to all in your card collecting endeavors.

ABOUT MYSELF

Collected for over 50 years was a co-owner in a trading card store..

Not looking to Trade or Buy ONLY sell.  All money goes into my only grand-daughters future.  I'm not out to make anything for myself, but a future for the apple of my eye.

I have connections in the professional sports. Mike Veeck, co-owner of the Saint Paul Saints and the son of legendary owner Bill Veeck (who created fan appreciation day) as one of my close friends.

Willing to listen to ALL Offers!!!  Promise that I don't get offended at one as long as you don't get offended if I turn it down or we do some give and take. Scammers though I won't respond to.

I would like to sell entire collection in one sale for as low as $75,000 (seems like alot......The 2 Walter Payton cards  and 1 is most likely worth that alone).  Haven't even entered them and my collection at this point is moving towards $25K.  So basically you buy the Payton cards and all else is included including doubles/triples and the players that I even have 7 or 8 cards of in some of the seasons.

I'm on the up and up because if I wasn't would I have cards for as low as 3 cents or a Vintage 1958 Hank Aaron card for $110.  These cards are at less than Market Value.

Already talking with an Auction company to sell them, but 2 hinderances on that.  1.)  The most important, would rather they go to a card collecting enthusiast not someone looking to turn right around and sell.  Truth be told though it's not up to me, that's a buyers decision not mine. 2.)  Auction houses take a pretty good cut and I don't want to ask for more as a starting price for them because that takes my 73% offering and doesn't do what my main goal is.......Provide a profit immediately for any buyer or collector, that to me is the best thing you can do in this business is make the sale for another be valued so it shows they are valued and doing that with an Auction House and their commission takes that away.

I'm always adding cards to my on-site collection and have many many more as I get all of them entered.  Stop back you'll see my total increase every week.

I give constant communication on the status of your order and provide tracking numbers if requested.

Thank you for your consideration and will tell you many times Thank You from beginning to end of your purchase.  YOU DESERVE that because it's you buying the card(s).  I'm only here to provide a service to someone that has a very similar interest that I had in building this collection.  One last thing....no I never put cards on my bicycle because it was COOL....lol.  Remember reading an article at the time when the Honus Wagner card sold for I think it was $100K and knew then that these cards had a potential to one day be valuable.

My main pc is the Chicago White Sox with a main interest in Luis Robert and Frank Thomas. Being such, I have decided to attempt to put the rainbow together of the 2024 Topps Series 1 base card of Luis Robert Jr. #249. As well as get as many HRC's as possible so priority will go to those offers first!

I also am starting a pc of Alexa Bliss wrestling cards. I may also be interested in anything Florida Gators, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bulls and San Jose Sharks, just depends if the card catches my eye.

Not much of a set builder aside from the Topps Holiday sets!

After what I dealt with on a recent trade transaction I will no longer be trading. If there are cards you are interested in then feel free to make me a $ offer.

12/4/2023 - Updated my PC lists, so there will be a mass of Jackie Robinson, Roberto Clemente & Corbin Burnes cards available for sale/trade here soon.  As I mention below, my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade.

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 1,500 transactions, with over 23,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond. (Just completed a trade to Finland, as a matter of fact).

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 2/9/2024):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (4), and Tim Duncan (2).

NFL: Sterling Sharpe (3), and Don Majkowski (2)

MLB: Robin Yount (7), Tony Gwynn (6), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (7), Pat Listach (1) and Mark Langston (1)

Golf: Rickie Fowler (2)  & Joel Dahmen (2)

WWE: Lita (3)

UFC: Conor McGregor (4)

Non-Sport: Eddie Vedder, Judah Friedlander, Big Jay Oakerson, The Brothers Osborne (TJ & John), Rob Riggle, Bert Kreischer, Tom Segura, Charlie Berens, Post Malone and Brody Stevens

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

Due to some space constraints and needing to down size, I would love to sell off some of my cards listed on my For Sale / Trade List.

I have completed hand collated sets, tons of base cards and a lot of inserts and parallels.

Let me know what you would be interested in .

If you do have something from my wantlists I am interested in trading in your favor.

Still looking for Mike Sweeney & Bobby Murcer I don't have.

If you have any Mike Sweeney or Bobby Murcer cards to trade, please click on my separate collections to see what I have and what I am looking for.

Thanks

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!

1.  My top priority is completing sets.

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!

On August 9, 2006, (Harry) Kalas called a close play at the plate as Chase Utley scored from second base on a routine groundout against the Atlanta Braves: Chase is going to keep going and he's safe at home plate! Chase Utley, you...ARE...the...man!
