Derek Jeter, New York Yankees, Iowans, set builder
After two moves in two years, it is time that I change the way that I am managing my collection. In October, I was involved in a number of trades, and it took away from the time that I had to organize and inventory my cards. Starting in November, I will be accepting 15 trades each month. It should allow me to get more of my trade inventory uploaded here and yet I can still be trading.
In accepting trades, I will be prioritizing them as follows:
- Derek Jeter trades. I have a large number of Jeter doubles that I haven't listed here yet to trade for Jeter cards that I don't have. Let me know what you have and I will find something that you need.
- New York Yankees trades
- Iowan trades (active players include Michael Wacha, A.J. Puk, Mitch Keller, Colin Rea, Derek Hill, Keaton Winn and Jack Dreyer. Retired players include Casey Blake, Jeff Clement, Jon Lieber, Kevin Tapani, Joel Hanrahan, Jeremy Hellickson, Bob Feller and many more).
- All other cards on want list
I am only trading baseball for baseball. I use Beckett as a guideline to determine if cards are similar in value. I also look at mentions here to see how many traders have the card in their collection, how many traders want the card and how many are available for trade. If either of these parameters are out of whack, I will politely decline and move on to the next trade. As a general rule of thumb, the trade should offer base cards for base cards, inserts/parallels for inserts/parallels and relics/autographs for relics/autographs.
Thanks for your patience.
