I started collecting baseball cards (1991 Upper Deck) as a kid. Lost interest in the sport, and collecting, after the 1994 MLB strike. I switched to watching hockey (1995-96 UD). Briefly returned to the hobby in 2005 (2005/06 MVP). Got back into card collecting in 2024 (UD flagship, OPC, PWHL, SPA) and my current plan is to buy two hobby boxes of each release, per year, and try to finish off the base sets through trading. Any nice inserts I pull are just a bonus.
