Hockey Collecting Focus:
My primary hockey goal is to collect at least one card of every player who has skated in a Washington Capitals regular-season or playoff game. A Capitals card is preferred when possible, Capitals Sweater is even better, but I’m happy to use non-Capitals cards to fill gaps. This is my main PC and long-term collecting project.

As of 2/3/26: I've collected 30.05% of the players that have played at least one game with the caps, but they account for 59.6% of games played and 68.4% of points scored in Capitals history.

36.3% of players (226 unique players)

Other PCs & Interests:
Across sports, my favorite players are Tom Wilson (Hockey), Darrell Green (Football), and Cal Ripken Jr. (Baseball). I also collect former Virginia Tech athletes, regardless of sport.

Trading Preferences:
Primarily looking to trade, not buy (tight budget right now). Most trades are PWE within the U.S.; open to Canada depending on the cards involved. Larger trades may ship in a bigger envelope to keep costs reasonable. I try to keep trades balanced and am very open to counters. If a card is marked NFT, feel free to ask, I may be flexible. Exceptions are PCs and older cards from my dad that are very sentimental.

Trade Etiquette:
If I don’t hear back on a proposal after a week or so, I’ll usually withdraw it to keep cards from being tied up in multiple trades. I collected during the junk wax era and recently returned to the hobby, now collecting alongside my daughter. Check out her collection at TeamStromer.
