I collect mainly hockey cards but have started to dabble in set building in other sports.  I'm in the process of starting an Eagles and Phillies PC to help facilitate more trades.  My priorities are still my hockey PCs and set building but wanted expand my want list to get rid of more traders.

I like to keep trades to 5 cards or more, especially if that trade includes base cards.  Just want to make sure the cost to ship is worth the value we're both receiving.  I ship in a PWE as much as possible to keep shipping costs down.  Feel free to do the same as long as cards are safe and secure.

I don't have a ton of higher valued cards, so I try to save those to trade for other higher valued cards that I need.  I use Ebay to assess values.  If Beckett tells me a card is worth $10.00, but I can buy it on Ebay for $2.00 shipped, that card's value to me is $2.00.  I normally respond to all offers within 48 hours; at worse, I'll send you a message letting you know that I saw your proposal.  Don't get your feelings hurt if I decline or counter.  We may just have different views on the values of cards.  I hope that doesn't destroy a trade opportunity.

I'm very particular about the cards that I send in trade.  They are almost always near-mint or better unless they are vintage, and I'll send pictures of those.  I expect the same in return.  I don't want bent corners on any cards, even if they are base cards.
