Collects:

- Washington Capitals

- 1961 Topps Baseball. Dad found half the set at a Salvation Army when I was 9 (in the 60's), and now I have the complete set with variants and am replacing my poorer-quality cards.

- Cal Ripken Jr. Started back in '88.

- Mark McGwire. Yeah....I know. But I had over 400 different cards before his congressional testimony, so what the heck.

- Charlie Hough. I'm married to a Charlotte "Charly" Hough and was able to get the baseball player's autograph on a card for my wife, so I figured collect all his cards as well.

- Retired NHL Goalie Mike Smith and any athletes/other named Mike/Michael Smith. I'm a Mike Smith, so there.

- NHL Hall of Famer goalie Lorne "Gump" Worsley

- Army sponsored NASCAR and NHRA cards

"One man by himself can be pretty ignorant but for real bona fide stupidity, nothin' beats teamwork." As a junior captain in the Army I told that to a General Officer. He agreed and gave me a coin.
