Cabrera caught 388 games in the Toronto system from 1986-1989, and no other positions. In 4 September/October games for the Braves, he played 1 game behind the plate and 2 games at first. In 1990, 3 games (5.2 innings) at catcher and 48 at first. Too many catchers on the Braves roster, I guess.

1990 AL Rookie of the Year, though the hype in advance of his arrival made the award pretty much his to lose. Alomar, Jr. was named an All Star for the first of six times, and received his first and only Gold Glove.

Berryhill's 1989 season ended in August with a torn rotator cuff. A long season of rehab led to him rejoining the Cubs for 15 games behind the plate in September and October.

Base set cards are all in! Now to re-acquire the four '89 Debut cards that I traded before I realized what I might do with these cards.
