Woodstock card show 04/24/22by doogie_13 - 39 cards (Last updated on May 9, 2022) |
1. 1984-85 O-Pee-Chee #185 Doug Gilmour
RC!! This was definitely the highlight of the show for me. It cost a little more than I was hoping to spend, but I got a very nice copy with clean edges and corners. Not perfect, but relatively nicely centered as well.

2. 1990-91 Kraft #94 Calgary Flames
A stealthy addition to my Doug Gilmour collection, I almost passed this one up. I am glad to have taken an extra second to really pay attention |
4. 1993-94 Ultra - All-Stars #16 Doug Gilmour
I only had this one I wanted from a very busy vendor. He was kind enough to give it to me for free. Kindness, patience and manners DO pay off. Thank you, unknown vendor! |
5. 1994-95 Leaf - Leaf Limited #23 Doug Gilmour
I really find these Leaf cards to be quite beautiful in hand. There are 3 of them which use this same graphic set, so it can be tricky to tell them apart from memory only. |
6. 1994-95 Upper Deck - Predictors Canadian #C18 Doug Gilmour
My first, of what seems to be a good many predictors and redemptions from this year. |
7. 1995-96 Collector's Choice - You Crash the Game Silver Exchange #C21 Doug Gilmour
This one ended up being a double because I felt quite rushed the booth I picked this one up from. Oh well, I am sure I can find a good home for this one in another person's collection. |
8. 1995-96 Collector's Choice - You Crash the Game Gold Exchange #C21 Doug Gilmour
Unlike the previous card, I knew that I was one hundred and fifty thousand percent sure that I needed this one. |
9. 1996-97 Maggers #149 Doug Gilmour
One of my coolest pickups from the show, for sure! I think I paid 2 or 3 dollars for it. I will be getting scans uploaded soon! |
10. 2017 Upper Deck Toronto Maple Leafs Centennial - Blue Die Cut #29 Doug Gilmour
I am always a fan of die cuts, and this one is no exception. I am not a huge fan of this set though, as it seemed like Upper Deck made a good many omissions from this set, which was meant to be a celebration of "the 100 greatest Maple Leafs". |

This wasn't Woodstock NY, was it? Great run of Henrik cards.
Hey Billy! No, it was Woodstock, Ontario, Yes, I got quite a few additions to my collection of the King, but sadly had only a limited amount of time at the vendor/table where I got most of them from. I didn't get any *spectacular* Henrik cards, but I very much enjoy the ones I did get
Well, he's my all time favorite player so I think they are all pretty spectacular :) I don't have some of them yet either, but I still have a long way to go.
I am planning to go to another show this weekend in Toronto. I will be keeping an eye out for more, so I may be in touch with you next week |
