That is most definitely not true that they were aftermarket.  The patches were in late cases that were mainly distributed by DACardworld and Atlanta Sports Cards (probably Blowout as well).  I opened multiple cases and pulled cards from all 4 series (Single, Dual, Triple, and Quad).  They were roughly 1 per case -- I never pulled any of the base Exquisite out of these cases.  I highly doubt the entire print run of each set made it out.

Cases of which product? UD? SP? Something else?

@abide - Since all the Exquisite cards were released in various UD products, base and inserts get listed with wherever they were issued, not as a standalone set. Same way with the hockey releases like Ice.
