I sure wish someone would make full sized cards of this set. The photos are fantastic! Does anyone know if this has been attempted. Kind of like Starliner did with Dexter Press in 1983.

I am enjoying building this set as well. It is cool to me that it contains so many lesser known players and covers lesser represented positions like right guard and nose tackle

In the early 1970's, these were my favorite sports items to collect! Pestered My Daddy to stop at as many Sunoco Gas Stations (mostly South Florida) as possible to get the Football Stamps for my Sunoco Book!! Wonder what happened to that special Book of Football Stamps? Disappeared after I went on active duty for the USN in 1979 . . .

Gas stations give out some cool stuff. I remember bugging my mom to buy gas at the local Unocal station so I could get the latest Dodgers give away!

If interested, I have quite a few 1972 Sunoco Stamps on my trade list.
Great set to collect. Walked by a Sunoco station on the way home from school. The attendant would only give us one a day....but we stopped every day. Great memory.

Let's trade! I keep my Wantlist and For Sale lists updated.

Is it possible for the 2 stamp albums to be included here? I just acquired the 56 page album with all 144 stamps that were issued inside the album still attached and intact. I know this would be considered "Packaging". Maybe listed in Unopened Material somehow? Just a thought.

Packaging is where the albums go.

That's what I figured. Was just hoping this could be treated as a "Pack" or something similar since stamps were included and attached with the albums. Thank you for the response.

What is everyone's advice on separating the stamps? Is there a correct way to do it if you're interested in getting them graded? Thanks.
