Trying to find the collection this card belongs to. I could not find it on the site, hoping someone else will have better luck.

2002 Topps Nestle: https://www.tcdb.com/ViewCard.cfm/sid/78549/cid/5574408/2002-Topps-Nestle-3-Mike-Piazza
Can't always trust the copyright date.
Also, FYI - if you go to Mike Piazza's player page on here, and hit "Filters", you can filter by card #. Filtering to card #3 cuts the results to just 86 cards. From there, it's pretty easy to rule out most of the early ones and find this card. That tools saves a ton of time.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Thanks All. Should have none better than to trust the date with all the other cards that I have recently loaded.

Another way to help is to look at the stat line. Normally (as in cuurent cards that are not of players of yore) you can just tack on a year to find the release year. In this case the last stat line is 2001 so this would be a 2002 release. Panini (for all it's faults) and Upper Deck, nowadays, do a good job of putting the actual year and name of the release on the back of the card near the bottom.

Well they probably were printed late in 2001 which would account for the date even though they weren't distributed until 2002 .
