1967 Topps Baseball Forum

Has anyone ever heard of 1967 Topps cards being about 1/16" smaller on both sides due to factory cutting by Topps and not trimming?

Assuming the card image remained the same size, that would mean cutting each card four additional times at different sheet lengths and even down to a single card size to trim the final side. I just don't see it, especially in 67.

I bought a Jim Brown RC that the store owner told me was "factory short", and gave me a similar story to what you said.

I laughed and said that I'll call it what it should be called - trimmed.

Anyway, I got a really good price on a very attractive card that I would likely never own due to it being "factory short".

If "factory short" is really a thing, I owe that owner a bit of an apology for how I acted towards the card.
