1999 Collector's Edge Triumph Football Forum

I have a Randy Moss T48 card from this set but can't find it a home. My card is stamped as Galvanized on the front but there is no SN showing under the stats on back or anywhere else. Any thoughts on what this is?

I was able to find a similar card on COMC and a bunch more other than Moss as well. However I'm not sure how they were distributed (e.g. backdoored?) so I don't know if we'd list them here.

From the Galvanized release notes:

"Serial numbered to 500. Cards were originally distributed via redemption exchange then the remainder was distributed via retail repackaging. "

If the retail ones had SNs, then the ones without were likely backdoored

Not backdoored. They were sold to another company from CE's vault when they shut down. I have many of the cards that were supposed to be SN'd. All of the cards that went into retail repacks did not have SN's. They were supposed to be replacement cards for damaged ones and the SN would have been stamped at the time to match the damaged card. So there are a lot more than 500 copies of each of those cards on the market now. This is the case for many Collector's Edge SN'd inserts and parallels in all years. I have some from 1998 to 2000 of different products.

I have the same issue researching a galvanized stamped card with no serial number here.  I specifically remember receiving this one in a trading card magazine. No packaging just the card within the pages. What publication it was I don't remember.  Based on the previous postings, it seems like there are enough of them out there to constitute a new parallel link.  I'm curious as to what the graded population reports reflect and how they i.d. them...off to PSA & Beckett I go.  

Would there be a way to add the Non-serial numbered in as a set?

ONLY if we could verify that every single SN'd card in the set also has an un-numbered version! That's a massive undertaking, but the people on this site have been able to pull off similar feats in the past.

Personally, I just added my cards as the regular ones with a User Comment that it had no SN.
