It looks like Gerardo Parra's got a card in S1 and S2 Topps and it may be the exact same?
His series one card, #220:
The only scan I can find of his series two card + back (so far) is this one ebay seller:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/234585658319?hash=item369e6513cf:g:PxIAAOSwsqNipCXo
Sans the new number (#583), this looks like the same card from S1 got issued in S2.

I vaguely remember they did the same thing a few years ago, but I don't remember the year or the player.

I couldn't think of this happening before but I also had a couple near-decade gaps in collecting modern stuff. I'm both surprised and not surprised I guess. QC in the hobby has gotten so much worse these days.

There was a pair of Chris Carter cards like this in 2013, one in S2 and one in Updates, both photoshopped for him as a member of the Astros, and both exactly the same image.

Since Vivid Tools has gone way downhill with their quality. The backs that go both directions, this, and the Mets team card this year is the same moment as the checklist in S1. The team card picture was taken a second behind the checklist.

Other than the number, looks like they added the Twitter & Instagram logos (plus their handle, "@Topps") to the cards, in the gap between the biographical info and the stats.
Still doesn't really explain how/why Parra gets another card with the same photo and stats. It would be one thing if they reissued someone like Mike Yastrzemski to actually fix the spelling of his name. This just seems like a mess up.
UPDATE: Just noticed that the date he was acquired is different on the two cards. Maybe that was corrected/updated? I need to do some digging.

Yeah,on the Series 1 card, they have him listed as being acquired on 2/17/21. Baseball Reference agrees with that, but then...
November 3, 2021: Granted Free Agency.
March 14, 2022: Signed as a Free Agent with the Washington Nationals.
May 1, 2022: Released by the Washington Nationals.
And now his Series 2 card says aquired on 5/9/2019, which is back when the Nats originally signed him. Still no idea why they bothered, but there are a couple minor changes to the back of the card, I guess.

Thanks for digging deeper on the changes! The fact that they put his aquired date back in 2019 is even more strange...
Its going to be weird as a Nats collector to have two versions of the Parra card for my 2022 Topps team set. He gets 2x the parallels essentially too. If there is someone who actually PCs Parra, this is either the highlight of their day or drives them mad. Considering he's now retired he probably wouldn't have gotten any more cards save some oddball issue or maybe a "fan favorite" in Archives down the road.
