Any YANKEE TRADER redemption card can certainly be traded to other members or given away. Before or after they have been scratched. Redeeming the 2nd Chance Entry, which provides you with another unscratched redemption card (while supplies last), must still be done through the transaction manager.
The "HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE" section states the following: "The trade offer must include the PRIZE REDEMPTION card and ANY New York Yankees card. Yes, ANY New York Yankees card." A literal reading of "ANY New York Yankees card" means "ANY New York Yankees card". I would certainly welcome a homemade Canadian New York Yankees card.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

RUMORS
An unsubstantiated rumor has been going around that the name of all TCDB members that redeem a Yankee Trader Redemption Card before January 1, 2020 will be placed in a Yankee Trader Grand Prize drawing. Hmm? A top notch investigative reporter is looking into the rumor for me. This forum will be updated with any new information.

redlegs' video shows him winning "You Choose the Mystery" and IfbBirdsCards has one in his Collection.
stump417 has "5 Baseball Packs" in his Collection.
vvvergeer has "1990 Fleer Baseball Wax Box" in his Collection.
Corky uploaded the back image for "1987 Topps Baseball Set".
That leaves three prizes unaccounted for, correct?

I've got a redemption card, but didn't realize it was for an actual redemption. I thought it was simply a design to replicate modern cards.

I certainly will. I'm out of town, but will head home shortly so it'll be late tonight.
