Thank you Chuck, they are bit more mixed up than befiore but I am sure everyone will figure out things.
So that is the 8 AM sunrise in first photo, kid on the school bus and Friday is breakfast day in town!! Woohoo!!
Second picture is my morning stop every working day, Maggie Mae's. Home cooked heaven.
Third, playing with bulls!! Building a barn door, peewwwww!!!
Next three are our "World's Tallest Survey Markers" built exactly on our provincial boundries o SK and AB. Really tall!!
Next is the actual proof, the highway is co-owned which means both provinces must post signs.
Since Rememberance Day is not far off, just showing the three Smiths that are family members who died in WW1.
The next is just a picture of the entire monument. And after that, our city hall The facade is of the original school that stood in its place. It was disassembled before demolition and repurposed onto the new building. After very large protests as it was a beautiful 4 story school from when the city was first built.
The next three photos are of the oldest structure in Lloydminster. The Barr Colonists (Im 5th gen) built it as one of the very first structures in the village. It is an amazing story about vision, lies and hardship and if you are ever interested in csome great Canadiana this is just one of hundreds of stories of how a city bacame to be.
Finally it my local postie! Terry knows all too well of my hobby and the amount of mail that comes through our humble portal. Since Terry will be the final person to touch Flat Admin on his way I thought it was only fitting to make this the final stop and photo of the day. (Plus I had two more parcels of cards lol)
I apologize for the length I had FA and the next roomie is a well deserved recipient. Enjoy his company!!
