2018 Sportkings Multi-Sport Forum

So, once again I do a search for a set by entering the way it used to be titled (correctly I will add) only to come up empty. Finding it by going into My Collection, I discover that someone has chosen to shorten "Sport Kings" to "Sportkings". The front of the cards show "Sport Kings Gum"; the copyright line on the back shows "Sport Kings" as two distinct words. The only possible deception is where SPORTKINGS is all in capital letters possibly making the space between the two words indistinct.

I really wish some would stop changing things on their own whims!

2018 Sport Kings/Sportkings is a Major Release and has inserts. There is only one person who can make that decision and  change and again that person is ADMIN. Nobody else has access to the tools to make that change except him.

If you read back carefully, Sport Kings LLC is the company. But, Sportkings is the trademark name. Confusing indeed.

Same goes for SAGE. The company name is "SA-GE" but we list them as SAGE because their stylized logo has no hyphen.

The Change Log shows two words in 2020. But doesn't show the change. It was changed via IR for Admin to approve.

These are the ones where I wish someone who thinks better would introduce it in the Forums and ask the community before attemtping to make the change. I personally think "Sport Kings" or "Sport Kings Gum" is more accurate. After all, Fleer is the company yet we call them "Ultra".
