Should these cards be listed with the words on the card front (i.e. Mr. October, 1975 World Champ) and then linked to the player, or left as is? I'm willing to make the changes, just don't want to do it if there exists a reason for their current listing. Thanks.

The set should be removed. They use Topps' copyright/trademark design.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I'm kind of stupid here and a Google search didn't help much but what does the JSW stand for?

The initials of artist James Wright
Question: if we have a full checklist already for this set, shouldn't it be moved to Unlicensed and marked as such?

All of the JSW sets have been renamed to include "(Unlicensed)" and have been moved down to the Unlicensed category, and I have two IRs in to update the names and brands of the sets that have inserts. If Admin determines none of them should stay, not a problem.

FYI looks like Admin moved the earlier IR to Resolved without touching anything, which is his way of saying the set stays.
As for the original post, I haven't looked at the images of the other JSW sets, but if this is the only one using nicknames, I'd agree with switching the Name field to the nickname as seen on the card itself, but don't clear the PID out when editing ... leave it as is so the link to the player profile stays.

So I checked all 18 sets. The first 10 do not have any names on the cards. The last eight ("years" 51-60) all use nicknames or some descriptor (i.e. 1970 World Champ). Should we leave as is, or change all of these names? Do I regret asking this question to start with? (yes)

Might be easier to just put the nicknames in Note2

Oh OK thanks. I'll remember that for only "a minute".
