1995-96 Collector's Choice English II Basketball Forum

Curious why this card in the English II version is also linked to Wayman Tisdale and Otis Thorpe when they are actually just background players (wouldn't we have to link every background player on every card then)? 

And if they are linked on the English II version of CC, shouldn't Tisdale and Thorpe be linked to Collector's Choice #145 French II, German II, Italian II, Portuguese II and Spanish II as well?

Per the FAQ...

Names should only be linked to a card if they are the focal point or subject of the card. Background players or characters should never be linked. 

So those cards are not following the TCDB rules.

The Names are wrong on this checklist. It should be "Phoenix Suns vs. Portland Trail Blazers" like the U.S. version, matching what is printed on the card itself, and when a card doesn't name specific players on the front or back (only teams), we're allowed to link to anyone in the photo. The FAQ rule applies to cards where a specific player is the focus, which isn't the case with Kevin Johnson here.

As for why everyone isn't linked on every set, it's a crowd-sourced site, and people don't apply changes to every affected card when they work on this stuff.
