Oh, one other thing I forgot, you'll need to update the Pack versions as well.
So maybe it looks like this:
xx[a] - Pack version; "(c) 1987 Leaf INC."; Black in upper right on front; 3rd line of text in career stats ends with the word "player"
xx[b] - Factory set version; "(c) 1987 Leaf INC."; Black in upper left on front; 3rd line of text in career stats ends with "first"
xx[c] - Pack version; "(c) 1987 Leaf INC"; Black in upper right on front; 3rd line of text in career stats ends with the word "player"
Do this for all cards.

Thanks for the help. It makes sense to update the notes as I come across them. I will update for this card and utilize the below:
VAR: Factory set version, shorter blue border on front

That is not correct. No such thing as a shorter border on the front. Nor is it complete.

Yeah, I missed your last reply and would add the copyright info.
Regarding the shorter blue border, I believe that is the only distinct difference on this card. It is very much a thing. You can compare the front of the two cards.

A shorter border on the front simply means the card was cut differently. Shorter blue borders occur within groups of packed out cards. That was NOT the differentiator on the Meads card. Check out the text under contract status instead.

I don't believe the blue border indicates it was cut differently. Each version of the Factory vs. the Pack that I've seen shows that the blue portion of the black border is longer for the Pack version. I've compared three different sets of these cards.
I now see a difference in the contract status. It looks like the first line of the Pack version ends further to the right on this card.
I think this means we have two differentiators.

And I looked another time - Here are all the details that ACTUALLY distinguish these as different printings:
1 - The text on the first line of the contract status:
a - Packed out - ends under the 0 in the saves column
b - FS version - ends between the zeroes in the shutouts and sves columns
2 - The last line of text in the Career Highlights section:
a - Packed out - the period in "Coll." at the end of the line is directly under the "a" in "and" above it
b - FS version - the period in "Coll." at the end of the line is directly under the space between "Osceola and"
As you're updating the 3 Meads cards, please be sure all of this information is included, along with the (c) info that is already present in Note2.
And then, please feel free to do this level of analysis on each of the (I think it's) 624 cards that have differences.

Check the line where the black and blue meet - see where that lines up with the image in the photo. If that spot on the photo is different, then yes, you are correct. If the meeting point of the 2 colors lines up at the same spot on the photo, then it's not an indicator, it's simply a difference in the cutting.

Its different. Both on two different sources of the set I'm looking at online and the comparison I'm making in hand. This short border definitely exists and is a differentiator.
