So many postings about prices. As far as price on this card so many different options. For me I would give it away if someone wanted it.
I look at it this way there is:
Book Value: We think 1st of Beckett but there are other price guides.
Market Value: We 1st think of E-Bay again others
Personal Value: Depends on a few things. For me my PC is priceless, and all others is whatever I can get for them. Other what they paid for it.
Worth: Is the same as value to most people but not to others. To me worth is more of a approx. figure more like the personal value.
Now let us look at prices:
What the seller gets is lower than what the buyer pays, because of the cost in shipping and other fees when using some platforms. On COMC a buyer may pay $1.25 for a card, but the seller may only get around $0.30 so what is the value of the card?? We know the prices for both. The value to the seller is different than the buyer. The seller may be looking at the profit more than the price/value.
Auctions are a different animal as they can go very low or high depends on who is bidding at that time.
