All done.  With those inducted this year, 323 is the final total. Due to the site going offline while I was inserting another card, there are 2 Bullet Rogan; I have l aready advised Admin. Once removed, there will be 323 entries (yes, maybe premature for the 6 2018 inductees but as of July this year, they would need to be entered).

I noticed that some of the EXEC's have their team association removed; I do not agree with this.  The HOF site definitely tags some of these with a specific team.  I think we should also tag them to the rightful team.  Any Toronto Blue Jay fan knows Pat Gillick was the builder of the2 World Series Championship teams. 

If agreed, can I ask the person who did remove some to go back and reenter them as, hopefully you will remember those you removed and what team they were tagged to? I also think this is something that should have been discussed prior to doing the changes.  I spent much time going back and forth between this site and the 2 other sites to get the information and insert the cards.  To find that someone comes in behind someone else's work and changes things to suit his opinion without discussing the issue and gaining consensus is offensive.

By the way,may I suggest toall that this is a good practice on anything that is not clearly defined in the guidelines.

Last thing that needs to be done is to Verify Teams and Names. There are a few teams from the Negro Leagues that are not in the database and one or two names.  Can someone else take that on?

Names are done. I'll wait for the teams to be updated back by the other member.

Added the missing Teams to the database (and fixed a couple of the teams as some unofficial names had been used). There are sttill 32 cards without team designations. Many of them deserve team designations.

OCHawkeye - Only the year changes as it keeps adding to the set. Since they add to the set (and I do believe they keep printing and reprinting the old ones), there's no need for there to be a break. The inductees that were being printed in 1985 are still being printed today.

Odd about the teams.  I used the team names from the Hall of Fame site.

Sure, that's what I meant.  I mistook "1965-17 Cooperstown Plaque..." as the name of the set.  I now see that the name used on this forum is the concatenation of "1965-17" and "Cooperstown Plaque..."

HOF used unofficial names from what my research found. There was no Hilldale Daisies, that was not the name. Hilldale was actually not where they played - Hilldale was really the team "name". They didn't use a "city" name. And Cuban Stars was really two teams, an East and a West - which were both already in the database. I just had to look those players up and see where they actually played and edited appropriately. 

The work you did was tremendous, and greatly appreciated. I really like the way the set looks now. Thanks for what you did!

The good news is that now there is a card in the database for every HOFer.  That wasnt always the case.  I think there were 6 with no cards when my brother checked all the names a couple years ago.  Mostly execs missing, i think.  Not anymore.  Great work, guys.  Checklist looks really good!
