RIP Tom Dempsey

Former Saints kicker Tom Dempsey died last night from complications due to COVID-19 while also suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia.

I'll never forget seeing him kick the 63-yard field goal to beat Detroit in New Orleans as time ran out. He was an inspiration to anyone born with physical defects that anything is possible in life.

For those of us who don't know about football, can you explain what you mean about him overcoming physical defects?

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards.

Billy, he overcame a birth defect - no toes on what would become his kicking foot and I believe he only had one hand.

Before making it in the NFL as a kicker he was a lineman in college.
