Finally, the greatest of the 2000's and 2010's is finally retiring. He is not the GOAT in my opinion but one hell of a player. Congrats Brady.
edited to add. He is not the GOAT in my opinion is the known cheating scandal.

I saw this on ESPN just now. It is not surprising that Brady is retirng now. He is a lock for the HOF on the first ballot. Brady did leave a lot of great memories.

Not just age, injuries and wanting to spend time with family, but the Bucs are about to lose a bunch of players and likely their offensive coordinator, so the timing is right.

Really never thought he would stop. Hey, if Gronk could come back one can't count Brady out... but maybe this is truly it. We will all probably hear from him again real soon.

WOW. I can't believe it. It's going to be so weird without him.
Edit: He's back. I knew deep down he wasn't retiring.

I've only gotten into football recently. I never really got to see him play, and I always really rooted against him, but you've gotta respect the man. He was one of the greatest ever, even arguably THE greatest ever, to play the game. I tip my hat to one of the greatest NFL players ever and wish him well in his retirement.

Didn't think I'd get this far from building robots in the garage, but here we are now. Wish I could make a robot that could scan every image of my cards in here...

That's said. He was my favorite football player -actually, the only football player I'm a real fan of.

It's gonna be a loooooooong time before anyone touches his records. Pretty incredible he competed in 10 Super Bowls and won 7 of them...most players never get the chance to compete in 1. Hats off to him and glad I was able to witness greatness.

Never, ever, was a fan of his, and except for last year's Super Bowl, never rooted for him or his team. But in my book he became the greatest of all time last year. Leading his teams to championships speaks volumes. That's the trump card on any argument against that.

Taking a break until November 6th.
