Kimbrel if he has three more good years should have around 500 saves. If he gets to 500 he should be in. He is only 34.

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

If Mookie Betts never plays another game, he's a Hall of Famer. His case was pretty much set during his Boston years, and he currently ranks as the 15th best RF of all-time according to JAWS, right behind Tony Gwynn.

There are a few examples of players having a HOF case over a short stretch, but precluded them because of their entire history. This year's Modern Era committee is looking a Belle, Mattingly and Murphy, all prime examples
But I do want Betts to keep it up and get in. Needs to avoid those slow starts...

According to Baseball Reference, it looks like Betts misses the mark for the four HOF stats used to get a good guess about electability. I still think he needs some good years to clinch it. Right now it could be argued that Andruw Jones has a leg up on him and he's barely in the conversation.

Betts should get in but needs a couple more good seasons…really hope Ohtani gets in for his impact to the game of baseball.

Velander's in, IMO. I put him in the obvious category with Trout, Pujols, Cabrera & Kershaw

Mookie isn't eligible until he plays a game in a 10th season. (2023) I hated to see him leave Boston, but wish him the best towards the hall. Another 4-5 good seasons to meet some minimum counting stats and he's there.

Nope. Cannot think of anyone not mentioned already.
I can only think of one other name off the top of my head (without trying to project forward the young stars in the game). Pitching numbers are going to be so hard to compare against the past due to the changes in the game.
The one other active pitcher who is young enough (currently 31) that he may put up numbers that get close is Gerrit Cole. Crazy to think there are only 18 acitve pitchers who have even reached 100 wins in their career...
