I agree. Williams did make a mistake, but I don't think it was as big as people are making it out to be. He was in a tough spot for sure. Several possible penalities (pass interference / defenseless player). I think his mistake was the timing of his tackle, he just got there too early; the ball floated. Plus he had back-up. There was another player who could have made the tackle. Unfortunately he took him out.
Deion Sanders really ripped into the guy. I can't stand Deion and his after-game rant just proved that his attitude toward the game is dated. It's a different game than when he played.
Anyway, us Minnesotans forgive his mistake and wish him all the best for the rest of his career.
And Dan, I think you're right about skol. You might be hearing it a few times between now and next week.
My two-cents is worth slightly more than a penny.
