I agree with both statements of the race yesterday, its to bad they cant do anything about blocking, The owners have to be getting sick of all the money going down the drain 4 times a year. I Miss Jenkins, Parsons and Jarrett, I think Dr. Jerry Punch was pit road reporter as well. We have had alot of great announcers thru the years.... and alot of bad ones.
I still remember J.D.'s death to this day. and alot of others as well. I am glad we are where we are at now, cause of they still had those safety procedures now, we would loose alot more.

I've certainly not been impressed with the action in general lately, but I guess I'm a NASCAR pedant. These dudes can't race at COTA or on the dirt at Bristol (give us a REAL dirt track), and Richmond and Martinsville put me to sleep. Talladega was nice at least, lots of ups and downs and real action near the end.

Can't say much about any of the races this weekend...
Don't care for a lot of F-1s rules, but on tracks like Daytona and Talladega
their 1 move to block couldn't hurt in Nascar.....

I know right well when he finally does get to cup, He will know the car and some of the tracks.
On another note. My brothers brother in law is head of aero at Hendrick. Rick has called all Hendrick drivers in to talk about off track hobbies. Junior has been asked to show up with his drivers as well.

What a great race. Truex for the win, comers and goers. Plus Ross being Ross. Loved Larson blocking him from taking the win.

During the race, they were talking about Teams that had Xfinity drivers under
contract as "Fill In" drivers incase of illness/injuries or even bans....

I missed most the racing this week. I forgot NASCAR raced this week because it was on FS1. I slept in and missed the F1 race, but it seems whenever I do that, Sergio Perez wins. Since he's my favorite F1 driver, maybe I should do it more often. I forgot the start time of the Indy race, so I turned it one just as Sting Ray Robb (which has the best racing name alongside Will Power among current drivers) crashed. I don't have a favorite Indy driver, but I enjoyed the race. Can't wait for the Indy 500.

I am glad he didn't take him out and was able to finish. But he would be first guy to whine if it happened to him.
