First, I'd like to offer prayers to Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin and hope for a speedy 100% recovery from the injury he sustained in Sunday's Bills vs. Bengals game. At the time of this post, Mr. Hamlin was still in critical condition but with some slight improvement, according to ESPN. Though most people's thoughts are on Mr. Hamlin and not so much when the next game will be played, the NFL did announce the Week 18 schedule.

I'm still having second thoughts about resuming this series of Pick 'Em Contests but it appears these games will be played sooner of later and people will still be watching games in the stands or from the comfort of their TV room/sports bar.
As usual, predict the winner of each game listed above--no point spreads to bother with. Whoever has the most correct picks will win their choice of one item from the prize list below.
Note:
- Contest entry deadline will be Saturday January 7, 4:30 pm Eastern/1:30 pm Pacific unless the date/time of the first game is changed. In that case, I will post a new deadline.
- There are 16 games this week. Make sure you've posted 16 team picks along with your tiebreaker predictions before the deadline. Predictions posted after the deadline will not count.
- Again a few prizes have been switched out from last week
- For this week's first tiebreaker, predict the grand total of points scored in all 16 games. For example, if you think 100 total points will be scored in each game, then your prediction would be 1600 points. Closest guess wins the tiebreaker. You can be over or under.
- 2nd tiebreaker (if necessary): predict the grand total of passing completions in all 16 games. For example, if you think 100 total passes will be completed in each game, then your prediction would be 1600 total completed passes. Closest guess wins the 2nd tiebreaker. You can be over or under.
A new array of prizes will be posted within the next couple of days...
