Maybe there is an alternate universe for missing cards and single socks collections.

Found it.! #4 Dolphins from 1995 Comic Images Boris All Chromium. Also found another card, but it is not listed anywhere but in my heart. Took her to see a double header, the Cinncinati Reds and then a Upper Deck sponsored "Then & Now" game.

Damn near everyday 🤦🏼♂️, that is why now I make sure I know where to find them before making an offer.
These gremlins are really annoying

I feel your pain. I constantly will find cards in TCDB showing I have it but then even though I have everything (over-)organized it is nowhere to be found and I'm sure it wasn't an accidently add.

I bought an antique book once a Field Engineering guide from 1909. I have lost this book many many times. I was recently looking for it again with Mrs Gunny as we were reorganizing and it has not reappeared. Rather than get frustrated I told the dear sweet Mrs Gunny that we need to take the zen approach. When it is least expected the book shall reappear, oooooommmmmmmmmmm....

I meant to add that at the doubles game I had a "baseball card" made of her. Not sure they do that any more. May post it as my avatar.

This is my worst brain fart - card related story. I have a set of 1992 Topps Micro baseball cards. I hate them because they're so small and not fully sorted so it's a pain in the neck to find cards involved in a trade. A while back, before I had them even partially sorted, I went through most of them to find one card involved in a trade. I set it aside while I put all the other cards back into their box and somehow got the one sorted card back into the other cards and had to go through it all over again.

This thread is good for a laugh. I am currently looking for the '89 Pro Set final update I bought back in May. It is nowhere with my '89s, so I guess I just stuck it somewhere.

All. The. Time. I try to keep a detailed list of where I've put any partial or complete set, and that usually helps, but just because my list says a card is supposed to be some place doesn't always mean it is.
