Had my first update today with my new dietician and life coach. Taught me the dos and donts of Type 2 Diabities and what I can/should eat. There truly is nothing not edible just how you plan your diet. Got my machine to test by blood sugar (got it for free!!) and finally got my first update .............. 8.3!!!!!!!! YES .............. down from 23.9 in 10 days. Now it my turn to do my part. I finally got an appointment for a phycologist and hope to be able to get regular counciling for my depression and anxiety!! I also get free pedicures once a month through healthcare, its a proven fact that foot health is a important factor in treating diabities. Who knew, I knew that feet tended to become a problem later in life but they now say early intervention is the key. She is making me get an eye test ASAP due to my driving restrictions but all in all I'm shaping up not to bad. All the side effects have pretty much gone after only 10 days of meds, some of the side effects are unpleasent but better than being dead. Hope this one portion of my life being updated gives you all a bit of a smile for me. Between the three of us over the next two weeks 7 doctors appointments that are booked, who knows how many more.
Darrell

Take care Darrell. Glad to hear how things have improved.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

Glad to hear things are going in the right direction, especially your blood sugar! Sounds like you have lots of support to assist you with these life adjustments.
