Lord I know I don't understand basketball as much as football and wrestling but PLEASE don't take Patrick Ewing Sr. I am not sure if you guys/gals heard but he is in the hospital fighting for his life from COVID-19 it looks like we might lose another one

I went through a basketball phase and it was because of him.  I watched a couple of Georgetown games at the Cap Center when he was playing.  He and Ralph Sampson had some titanic battles.  I always thought he was better then Shaq because Shaq was worthless outside of 5 ft from the basket.  Patrick has this turnaround baseline jumper that was undefendable and money most of the time.  I stopped following basketball after he retired.  This will be a tragedy for sure.  

He says he expects to fully recover, hope that's true.

I read today he's at home now. And says he's doing much better.
