Okay, I don't thin they really do. For those tha twere paying attention ot the trade deadline last night should have noticed that Houston picked up Greinke from Arizona. it's already scary enough to face Verlander, Cole and now Greinke as it is. Zach, already a great pitcher having a great year, now moves to an organization that has shown it can improve and rejunvinate pitchers. Just look at what Cole and Verlander have done snice joining. I think the line is now "For anyone facing Houston, you having a probelm."

That's a nasty rotation, for sure. Joshua is probably over the moon. (To keep the NASA theme going.)

Here is how my afternoon went as a Diamondbacks fan:
1pm- Cool, we didn't move anyone major and they picked up a nice arm from Miami swapping some prospects.
1:05pm- Hello darkness my old friend.

Reminds me of Philadelphia's legendary Halladay/Lee/Hamels trio.

I'm super excited to see what will happen! Especially now that Altuve is hitting like his old self, plus the pitching now? Oh yeah! I'm crossing my fingers Cole can sign again but no telling.

Definitely a great time to be a fan in H-Town!!! Astros and Rocket with some serious superstars and future HOF'ers. Wish the Texans would get their a$$ in gear too.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Sportzcommish is "like a kid in a candy store" right about now.... Can't wait to hear from him.

And what did we win at the end of the year? But it was a fun time.

Robert “It breaks your heart. It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in the spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone. You count on it, rely on it to buffer the passage of time, to keep the memory of sunshine and high skies alive, and then just when the days are all twilight, when you need it most, it stops. Today, October 2, a Sunday of rain and broken branches and leaf-clogged drains and slick streets, it stopped and summer was gone.” ― A. Bartlett Giamatti robertkimble.us/tradingcards

I'm sorry I've been busy rearranging a display just in case.
I do love this current Astros owner and GM as they are not afraid to pull off a blockbuster trade. And honestly, giving up prospects, albeit top ranked ones, for an established star is a no-brainer to me. Houston didn't enjoy the taste of giving up their title from 2017, especially since they were part of the roadkill of last year's champs. Our chances look great, but it's won on the field. I seem to recall one David facing Goliath that didn't go according to the odds.
But for now, I'm going to sit back and enjoy seeing what transpires. By the way, I do believe I have room for another ring.

Nope, Joshua's not happy at all. Almost sounds disappointed this trade happened....
