Big fan of grand funk, I have heard the on time album but do not own it yet,I do have all of there 70's output on cd and who doesn't love in-a-gadda-da- vida. Henry Gross I am not familiar with, I will be checking it out though.
And two for you:
Rory Gallagher first band Taste if you like blues rock
Anything 70's Leslie West either with Mountain, Leslie West Band, or the album's he did withJack Bruce.
Neither are obscure but both I think are under rated.

Like Eagles1960, I have a collection of loose vintage Star Wars figures. I'm missing 5 of them to have a complete run of the figures from 1977-85.
I have about 400 classic rock LPs and about 600 45's. I acquired most of them in the 1990s when everyone was dumping their records for literally nothing. Who would have thought they would make a comeback?
When I travel, I seek out Hard Rock Cafe pins, souvenir baseballs (you'd be surprised at how many museums, venues, and cities make these), and I always get those pennies that you put in the machine and turn the crank that flattens and stamps them.
I also like to pick up rare and unusual whiskies and scotches wherever I go, but those are more for consumption than collection :)

Where to start...
1. Sports Cards
2. CDs (4500+), Albums (300+), MP3s (don't even ask, several terrabytes)
3. Mad Magazines (idle)
4. National Lampoon Magazines (idle)
5. Stamps (idle)
6. Golf gear (constant turnover of irons, drivers, putters)

Wow! 4500, my 1500 seems like peanuts. Any certain genres?

My wife collects old milk bottles and Garbage Pail Kids cards. I turn them over to her anytime I end up with some. Her collection is growing pretty good!

If I'm not mistaken, Gallagher's from Ireland, and my wife and I toured a small music museum/recording studio where Gallagher and U2 did some recording early in their careers. Never have heard his music, though. I'll have to check it out. I've heard of Mountain - big guy, rough looking plays guitar, right? and Bruce from Cream, of course.

Hadn't heard of Point Blank or the others, except maybe the Stooges. Gotta reload Spotify on my laptop now. Thanks.

My wife collects salt and pepper sets and she must have over 80 sets. They have to be antique or unique, no everydayers. I'll occasionally pick her up a set or two at an estate store or wherever else , it kind of smooths things over for when I come home with more cards.
