He doesn't have any cards on here but actor Bob Einstein provided many laughs as Marty Funkhouser on Curb Your Enthusiasm and as Super Dave Osborne before that. A true loss...

One of my favorite clips with Super Dave was when he appeared on The Man Show with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes. No idea if all real or cut for TV but entertaining!

Love Bob Einstein from Curb and as Super Dave. This one hurt to hear about. Super Dave was in heavy rotation on Canadian stations, and I always make sure to look back at some of his memorable "stunts" a few times a year.

What I learned today was that Super Dave was Albert Brooks' brother. I've been a big fan of Albert for many years, but didn't know they were brothers. While I never got into his characters, Super Dave will be missed.
It's also funny his real name is Robert Einstein, which makes his brother Albert Einstein.

Loved Super Dave!! I fondly remember Laughing my ass off with my pops when the show Bizzare came on up here in Canada. We would always wait with baited(?) breath for the Super Dave segment. Man di he heal fast!! ROFL.
Four "stars" passed today, three of them at 76. Bob, Mean Gene of WWF fame and And the Captain. Also a female artist who was married to another singer, they were divorced.

There was also a Super Dave cartoon, I think in the early '90s. That was my introduction to his character.

Haven't thought of Super Dave in years, but I always loved watching his sketches.
Thanks for the memories, Super Dave, and RIP.

Odd coincidence but at the Belleville Senators' hockey game with a dress as your super hero theme, one of my regular customers for 50/50 tickets did a superb job in dressing up as Super Dave. I hadn't thought of him in years. A month later, he dies.

Remember him for his many stunts, with the help of his partner Fuji, that just never seemed to work as planned and often end in some misfortune to say the least. Hard to think it's already been over 30 years since "Super Dave" lit up our screens. R.I.P.
