I recently bought a collection of assorted 1973 TCMA reprints of 1920's exhibit cards.  I received this card as part of the collection.  The player is unnamed, and if this is an Exhibit reprint, I have not been able to locate it.  Might anyone know who this player is, and if it is a reprint as the back indicates, which set the original card is from?

According to COMC, it's Christy Mathewson. I don't see your specific card or any "original" using that photo in the database. (But I might've missed them - I only took a quick look).

I haven't listed it here yet because I wasn't sure what it was, but will look to see how I can categorize.  Did not think to check COMC - thank you!

Google Lens on my phone thinks it's Lon Warneke.  I can't tell. But it doesn't look like Mathewson to me either. 

That was my second guess. The uniform looks to be early 1940's St. Louis Cardinals
