New At this, purchased an Update box and this was pulled? Does anyone know anything about it? Thanks

I doesn't look like an intentional error. Looks like some kind of printing/ink error. It looks to me that during one of the ink runs the printing plate didn't have any or enough ink in the area covering the upper part of the card. Or the card got bathed in something before the ink was dry.

Is it worth saving, trading or selling, or for that matter are cards such as this worth anything?  Tnaks for your time and response.

It is not an intentional error and only worth something to a very few collectors.  There are folks out there (myself included) that will be $3 or so shipped for cards like these, but that's about it.  I paid $5 shipped for a Kris Bryant rookie from the Update set with similar ink issues.

I have been collecting errors & variations for a number of years now. I have a pretty good list of those that are "collectible". Well, most anything is collectible if it interests you. When the hobbie got saturated, trying to collect all got frustrating, expensive, impossible and so on.....I started collecting Es&Vs, found it a fascinating part of the hobby...foreign to many, cheap and attainable.....and I haven't stopped yet. I also found the Fleer Stickers to be another interesting collectible, and alot of fun to collect.  If anybody wants more info on collecting Es&Vs and Fleer Stickers, please send be a message, and I would be more than glad to help
