Card Identification Forum

Good morning all.  I recently picked up these 88 Star Tony Gwynn Promos.  I can't figure out how to tell the difference between these 2 cards to tell which ones I have.

1988 Star Tony Gwynn #NNO Tony Gwynn PROMO, PR200

They appear the same to me.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance

Just judging from the photos, the brown color looks different in the logs and text but I don't know if that's just the scans or if it is actually different.

The PR200 is glossy. I haven't looked at the listings yet, but that should be in Note2.

There were 1,000 Glossy sets made, which means 200 promos. They are very noticable in hand, but definitely not through scans. If I added the scans, then I guarantee I scanned a Glossy and a regular promo for these.

Thanks for the replies.  I thought the same thing about the brown color.  The glossy vs. non-glossy seems to be right.  I have some glossy Star sets and that definately seems to be the difference.  Thank you very much for the help!
