I was looking through my collection and noticed that my card has only one dot at the end of the writing while the picture in the DB has 3. So I checked my doubles and found that I also have a 3 dot.
Does anyone know if any other players have this variation and if this is the only card with this is this a true variation, or is it something to do with the printing process.

Just like the rest of the "dot" variations, this should also qualify. The question is How many cards have this variation? Time to start shuffling the '91 Fleer!

1991 Fleer has at least 2 versions of every card due to two different printers. The Cello packs were printed separately from the other cards and have differences in text and photo cropping (both front and back). Some differences are easier to spot than others. Some versions, like text spacing and text location, are only noticeable if you have both versions side by side. The type font on the Cello version tends to be a little darker also. Have fun with this one!

This one is not like the other dot VAR from other sets in that it is part of the text and not the copyright. As the previous post said, 91 Fleer is full of VAR (though not sure if every card has one). Some are obvious such as a career stat line missing, the black line dividers in the stats not being at the same intervals or like this one, something (usually punctuation) in the text.
No one rush out and create a VAR for each and every card saying 3 dots or 1 dot.

This is on my plate to get these together. Member Pingboy333 sent me a set to compare. I simply have to take the time to compare the set he sent against my set, and then against the images already here. It will be a major undertaking, and something I simply have not had time to do. Not all cards have the same types of variation, from what I have seen. Some, have slight variation in the cropping of the photo, some have text differences, while others may have both.
This is one of those card by card comparisons - not a complete "1 dot vs. 3 dots" on every card. So please, before talking without understanding, please understand what is actually going on here.

The Larkin cards above are a pretty good example of the text differences in this issue. Look at the word Right and its location to the red bar on both cards. This is what vrooomed is up against in cataloging. A very time consuming venture.

It looks like the whole blank ink print is shifted to the right margin ever so slightly...like you stated, probably from two (or more) different printing places/times?

Yes, the black text is just a printing alignment issue.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Bob, It IS a variation, and will be added eventually. I need the time to get to it. I'm hoping this week is slower at work. Things have actually been fairly busy for me (not riduclous like I was back in August and September), but enough that I don't really have much daytime down time. Simply the 3 dots at the end is a typesetting difference and is worthy of a TCDB VAR. The fact that the back is darjer - that would not make it a VAR.
