Got this Harwell in a big lot I picked up and I can't ID it. I think it may have come from a Tigers team set from between 2000-2003 as the lot also included a Steve Sparks card, and those were the years he was with the team. There's no copyright info or anything and this may not be eligible for the DB anyway, but I thought I'd see if anyone recognized this one.

Religious organizations often made "cards" of players who were devout followers for kids. Kinda like an "advertisement" for lack of a better word for the church or organization.

engine614 -- cool, we might be able to work out a deal including that in the future!
rmpaq5 -- thanks, that makes sense. Maybe it was the font on the back but it reminded me a bit of a Tigers team set or two I have, though like I said, there's nothing that would indicate that it was produced by any major manufacturer.
hockeydude -- WHOA, a Methuselah rookie card!

Agreed- not a team-issue. A "tract" card by a Christian athlete group of some kind.

Possibly Ernie himself had it made up. I have a similar card put out by Gary Carter. He signed them and gave them out to people who wrote asking for autographs.

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

Thanks, Dave. If there's a Halloween this year I could give that to a kid instead of candy so they'd get mad enough to TP my house

I have a couple of John Olerud's, from 1998 (Mets) and 2001 (Mariners), that look very similiar. The background I got on them is just what Ron said - they are apparently cards the person had made up, and a lot of players used them to give away when people asked for autographs.
I don't think there's any way to checklist them or include them in TCDB.
