Doesn't look like there were any factory-issued autographs, so only someone with knowledge of this particular individual's autograph would be able to tell if it's authentic or not. As for the card itself, that upper left corner (when looking at the back) would probably diminish a lot of the value that it would hold, but considering it's pretty much a common player, it probably wouldn't have much value to begin with. Items like these routinely sell in the "single digits" ($1 - $9) dollar-wise on venues like ebay.
