I've been sorting through a new box of cards and came across these 2.
The © on each card reads "1995 Classic Marketing, 1995 Finish Line"
My question is which card is the correct #4 and which I the misprint ? Beckett's 27th edition 2016 says Sterlin Marlin is #4 but ive found a lot of mistakes in that edition but it's the only one I have.
Anybody have any help ?

So the listing for the Burton card should be changed to show card #4, but the checklist doesn't get resorted so it stays in posiion #78, right?

I believe the listing should stay as 78, with an UER in note1 and "UER: Misnumbered 4 by Manufacturer" in note2

The listing in the database should show 4 (since that's what is printed on the card).
Note: "UER"
Note2: "UER: Listed as #78 on the checklist (or something similar to that."

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Please remember, the datbase has been upgraded (several times) since it first started. In the beginning, each card had to have a unique value or it caused problems in the system. It also required names to match exactly as they were in the Profile, or they wouldn't link. So many changes have been made, and now the directive is to have in the database what is printed on the card.

Add Trivia that #78 was never produced due to an error that #4 was duplicated, closes the loop nicely. Reminds me I need to add a couple for 86T baseball.
