I've got cards from 2 different subsets that are not listed here.
1998 Playoff Momentum Hobby - Headliners Blue (red is the retail version)
1998 Playoff Contenders - MVP Contenders.
I have the card numbers and names for the complete sets, but I'm not sure how to enter them.

i created the insert name for you, if you have the complete set in an excel file, please ensure you also have the team as well. if you have permissions, click on teh submit checklist and then the following page will have choices to upload. make sure you preview the submission before you upload it (ensure all card #'s are there , etc,, and validate the names/teams afterwards- making sure they are spelled are linked properly)
edit: on the Contenders sorry

Is this something that a level 1 can do?

What is the difference between a subset and an insert set?

There are more technical terms to use, but basically a subset has a different design, but is numbered and part of the base set. For example, the first one that comes to mind for me is the Fold Outs and "What's the Call" cards from 1994 Upper Deck Fun Pack baseball.
Conversely an insert set is numbered differently and inserted randomly into packs at pre-determined odds. Basically it's own, separate set outstanding from the base.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

Thank you, Jason, for explaining that perfectly.
