Yeah, most of the time, it's very obvious when a card's image has been photographed versus scanned. And when it's not obvious, hey, it gets through, and not tagged.
As a side note, I had one of my images tagged. It was one of my earlier scans, and was not of an actual card (1910 or so Sweet Caporal pin). It wasn't great, but it was a scan, and it met the guidelines. But it was still tagged for replacement (and has since been replaced). And guess what I did about it? I saw it, knew there wasn't much more I could do about it, and left it tagged so it could be replaced - even though it was a guideline-meeting scan. And now thankfully, there's a better image of it on the site.
But this is about the people who obviously don't even bother reading the guidelines and look at the site for a day or two and think "No other images on this site show people holding their cards but I bet it’s because no one is as smart as me and has realized you can do that yet" or “If I prop the front image up in front of all these blasters maybe they’ll think I’m a famous breaker. Obviously there aren’t any of those here because no one has done this yet!” (quotes thanks to JG).
