I always open trade requests with a note, "Up for a PWE trade?" or "Up for another trade", or some kind of opener...even with the repeat traders that I trade with. Why, I don't know, but these people don't know me and an opener might give someone the warm fuzzy they need. With that said I don't expect someone to send me a message as a determining factor as to if I will trade with them or not. I have a few people that I trade with that I never say a word in the messages, and I am okay with that.
***Also keep in mind, not everyone is fluent with reading and/or writing. Their typing skills/grammar might be lacking too. They understand the functionality of the website, trading cards and values, but the struggle is sometimes a handicap. Also, not everyone is using their phones/tablets...some are still using computers so speech to text may not be an option and even if they are using their phone/tablet it doesnt mean they know how to use the speech to text feature. ***
If the trader is established, decent feedback and the trade is worth it, then I am down for a trade!
Now, if you are one of those that expects me to change to meet you needs by only leaving one space after a period, rather than two, then we ain't trad'n diddly!!
MotownMike...hit me up if you want to do another trade!!

** Note- I am on this trading site to interact with others and share the joy this hobby gives me. If you send an offer with no message, I will consider you a bot and decline with the same non-message you sent me (so don't get butthurt if you get declined in this fashion). If you can take the time to pull, package, mail, and check off status bars, you certainly have time to write a short note.
Is that too much to ask or am I just being a grumpy old guy? Your input is greatly appreciated.
