Hello all, I'm back already.
I started moving cards to a new collection and used the "detailed add" so I could add my own tags and comments which worked great on the first card.
But now all the subsequent cards I want to add are only giving me the option to add the first two tags I created when adding the first card. I can no longer type in a tag and there is no option to add a new one. Only the comment field.
What am I missing? Thanks.

Some of your tags may not follow the guidelines. What kind of tag did you want to add?
Tags are meant to highlight unique things present on a card's image.
Guidelines:
1. Please review the list of tags below to make sure that the tag (or a similar one) doesn't already exist.
2. Tags should NOT be used for attributes that are normally already associated with a card. For example: card number, subject's name, team, notes (AU, RC, MEM, SN etc).
3. Tags should NOT be personalized to a specific site member. For example: My Favorites, On My Wantlist, etc.

Thanks for your reply.
This isn’t in the main tag list, but the personal tag list when you use “detailed add”. I was under the impression those could be anything. Also, the ones I have are still working, I just can’t add new ones.

I just tried add a personal tag to a card and the same thing happened to me. The "tag" field disappeared after I added a tag. I've never actually seen that feature until you mentioned it. Perhaps it's new and isn't fully working. You could try sending a message to Admin to describe the problem. It usually takes a few days for him to respond.

Yeah that was my plan if I didn’t solve it here. Thanks again for your response. I’ll send them a note with the examples. It’s a cool feature that worked great! Hopefully it’s just a glitch that can be corrected.

I just added another personal tag this afternoon partly to see if there's any issues that I get, and because I wanted another one. No issues adding it. I have 11 personal tags so far. Not sure what problem might be happening for you.

So the first time I added them it was a text field and told me to spectate them by a comma.
Now it is just a list of what I added the first time, with no text field or option to type in a new one.
What does yours look like?

Mine are just 1-3 words long. No commas. No continuation of the first tag. Add a new tag in the second field to type and submit at the bottom. I only add a new tag when I want another one for a new card. Not sure if site will let you add another tag if one is already present. Could someone add a screenshot describing this area I'm referring to? I'm not good with images in forums.

This is my issue. When I (re)entered my Sketch card with detailed add, I created a Sketch and a SN1 personal tag. Now, when I attempt to enter a new card with detailed add, I see this. Only the two I already created and no ability to create a new tag.
Thanks.

I don't know what else to say. I know the tags work, they are acceptable to use because you can search your tags on any of your collection pages near the bottom of the page, and the ones I've created don't show up in the "Public" Tags. If you do make a new Collection, you will have to make new personal tags for each collection. Maybe just try "User Lists". They do work well for things like this too. Good luck.
