Not free. Something like $60 or $70 a year, but well worth being able to know where the heck I've put something!

I have approx. 100,000 single cards not organized very well.   As there are only approx. 100 cards for me with active members.   They would be more for sale, and most are the .18 cards.  I have close to 18,000 cards listed FS/FT now.  

Even not being very organized I'm running a little under 1% of not finding cards.   It has taken a day or more to find a card at times.   One of these "I know I have it but where"?  Always find it in the last place I look. 

I always try to add cards to the deal if it will not cost me more in shipping.   I look at the sets they need and say Boy I have a lot of cards from that set.  So I pull a few.  Some times I do not find any.

I have thought about adding more cards.   Not being into baseball or basketball I'm not sure which ones would be the best to add. 

Being retired I have more time than money so adding them would not be the big thing.

Ohh cool , so you use 1 in conjunction with the other hmmm that has some potential there, rather than entering it here maybe use an external source of "position keeping" love butting heads here it's awesome, i'm feeling pumped that we can soon shed our website and bring it here.

Commons are completely organized by year / company / numerical and are in 18 monsters. Phillies are the same but in two 3,200-count triple shoes. Player collections (HOFers/Stars/Favs) are by player, but then they are each by year / company / numerical in 2 monsters.

If done through the transaction manager, I could pull 200 mixed cards in about 15-20 minutes - maybe 30 if I have to get to the bottom boxes.

I keep my collection on Beckett just to know where stuff is. The full collection, FST, wantlist is here because this is where the awesome trading is!!! So yeah, I do add new stuff both places, but it's what I've got to do at the moment.

I have often posted that organization in line with TCDb's listings (though mine are by Brand then Year) saves a lot of time to find cards for a trade. I have almost 90,000 different baseball cards (I have over 400,000 baseball cards available for trade but only list 1 of any one card for trade) and another 30,000 other sports cards listed for trade alone and can find them quickly and easily. I don't have any mixed boxes that are sorted. I have also previously posted that, no it does not take that much time to enter your collection into the database if your cards are sorted and organized.

I understand the problem of sorting them this way when you are looking at so many 5,000-ct boxes full but you have to start somewhere if you are going to use this site for efficient trading.

I have asked for a New Feature quite a while ago asking that the Comment field would be displayed when viewing my collection by set and not only by individual card. It did meet some resistance by some members not wanting their personal notes shown to other viewers (a second comment field for personal notes could be added); it never made it to implementation. Maybe some might vote for it now.

I added my entire collection over a one month period back when we didn't have all the tools we have now. (2012) It would have sure been a lot easier these days. 

For collection purposes only, one way to keep them separate is to make a collection for each box. I don't think it would work for tradelists however, since I don't think it tells you which collection it's coming out of. I have my entire tradelist as its own collection so I can't even easily check it. 

I'm doing something like that with my duplicate stash that I'm not ready to list yet. I have them stored in large boxes and to figure out what is in each box, and get a better feel on what I have stashed away, I created a collection for each box and simply added what was in that box to the collection. Eventually, talking years down the road, possibly decades, I'll have finished scanning and will know what I need to upgrade and will be able to check the collections and see what box I need to go in to see if the duplicate is an upgrade. I started to enter them but haven't worked on it in over a year now. I decided to work on scanning more instead. Besides being much more fun to do, every day spend scanning gets me that much closer to my goal. 

Thanks Dan, really appreciate that, we have at least 400 5k ct boxes and more in 3200's and 1600's and currently have "the store inventory" in 960 800ct boxes and at the rate we acquire it would be tough to constantly organise.

This crazy hoarder can't stop acquiring but definitely need an ultimate solution asap because there are many thousands more in the near future incoming and space becoming an issue again.

I would love to have a week or even better, a month in amongst your boxes. I think I could make some headway in sorting some that would then be easy to load here. And I probably could walk away with a box or two of cards I need at your low prices.
