I thought if a card was unnumbered, it was just that, unnumbered. Thought the rule was to put NNO.
So how come sooooo many sets have NNO1, NNO2, NNO3, etc.

Remember what you said about the Archives set a few days ago? Pretty much that and others not listening/watching to what's going on.

Change it or ask Admin to change it by reporting an inaccuracy. :)

Some sources, such as Beckett, often assign numbers to cards in unnumbered sets, usually alphabetically. I assume this is done as a convenience in listing and for identifying the completeness of a set. That could be the source of some of these issues.

Would do that, but no idea how to get that permisson. Don't want to bug them with every single one I see.

Yeah, some of the stuff I'm seeing is a complete lack of caring about how a set is listed, to the point some sets would be better deleted, and started all over. But I won't do that, even if I could.

Yeah, PLEASE don't do that. You would mess up the collection of every person who has a card in that set.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.

I find the checklist stuff, like the numbers and note fields far more annoying than the "bad scans" of pictures. The checklists, I think, is the site's bread and butter. The pictures can be found anywhere (most of them, anyways), The checklists with the proper information - it's sketchy on other places. That's just my feeling, I could be wrong as the day is long.

Doc, go to the Permissions link at the bottom of any page and click it. Take the tests and shortly you'll be able to do anything that's allowed to members. It doesn't take long for each test. The last one requires time and points but it doesn't always match what it says. I got top-level permission before I met either criteria just based on how much info I had provided to the site.
I hate the NNO1, NNO2, etc. crap too. Thankfully, Admin added a simple feature to replace all of the card numbers at once instead of going card-by-card or bothering Admin about it. You can always ask a member who has full permissions to do it, as well. I am one of those members.

Glad to hear NNO is the way to go. Someone has been going back and correcting some of the checklists I've entered with NNO1 and I never bothered to change them back because I thought I had made an error. It's confusing enough without numbers being added to cards without numbers to begin with.
