I pay $5.00 a month to support the site but if this is the new normal going forward, I will have to rethink that.

The site is pretty much useless.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I agree with dmbramer.
People need to not panic.
So many people on many forum posts look silly with their comments. They are working on the site. People need to be patient. Tech work and updates can "take" time.
Relax People. Let them have a bit to sort this out.

I have been using the site for 12 years now. I used to email back and forth with "Admin", but for some reason "Admin" now never communicates with the users.

I don't think asking for some communication is too much whining. Seems to me that informing the userbase is part of the job of managing a website.

I would imagine the admin wants to hang out. But he/she is running a large database with little support.
I feel they are overwhelmed with tasks, updates and countless hours of work.

It would take 15 seconds for them to add a banner alert on the home page saying there is system maintenance occurring and there might be slow responses at times for certain pages. But it took 3 days for anything to appear anywhere that I could see that actually confirmed this.

Yes, this right here!
Not even a banner even, just a formum message saying "Site will be undergoing maintenance on whatever date starting at whatever time, epect delays". Then if the site is slow or down, people understand why and will expect it. If you want to put together trades, you'll know to plan to do it either before or after the window of work being done.
