I read the FAQ for what cards are allowable on this site then I took a chance and purchased a box of 2021 Jersey Fusion.  This company sticks a patch/swatch on a piece of acrylic insert, then that goes over the card.  Assuming that the card & jersey (that the patch came from) were purchased legally...would these cards qualify for this site?  Here's the "Fusion" description on their site JF All Sport 2021 - Sportscards.com  Most of the players are no longer playing but there are a couple that I saw that are currently active.

Those look a little tragic, but to each their own. 

And to help specify why they aren't listable here's a thread discussing it (or just do a search function using Jersey Fusion). Basically they butchered legitmate cards with questionable material making them altered amongst other things.

I had never heard of them until this here thread. I figured I would look and WOW! Theats exactly why you should not leave your little ones around the cards while Mommy is making a blanket! Sorry I cant believe thats a thing!

That is what they look liike to me.

Just to clarify - the original cards used in these "fusions" are already listed on the site. These "fusions" are not created by the card company, and are aftermarket alterations. As much as me taking one of my extra 1987 Topps baseball sets and writing "Dan's Special" on each one and then selling them as limited edition "Dan's Special" cards. Just because they stuck a piece of fabric (from who knows where) between lucite and did it in a glossier fashion makes it no different than me writing in a sharpie on a card. Due to this fact, these will never be listed here.

If nothing else, that guy really know how to market what he's selling (assuming he's actually making sales on this stuff). 

I'm not a fan of them myself, though the LCS has boxes of them available for around $100 a box (1 card per box). He makes pretty good sales on them and has to frequently keep restocking.
