Yup, edits help the site and community in a big way, but they aren't a great way to earn points.
Here are some easy ones that I know earn points for each:
1. On profiles and sets, unless something changed, you earn a point for each External Link you add. If you see a player without a Wikipedia link, a Baseball-Reference.com link, a TheBaseballCube.com link, a HockeyDB.com link, etc., or a set that's missing a link to BaseballCardPedia, CardboardConnection, etc., that's a place to help out. Just make sure they're correct when you add them because we can't edit them.
2. Within each set, see if there are any YouTube videos about people opening packs from that product, doing box/case breaks of that product, reviewing that product, etc. If there aren't, check YouTube for something appropriate. If you find a video that could be beneficial here, click the "SHARE" icon on the YouTube video, click the "Embed" icon, and copy all the iframe code you see (including the iframe tags), then on this site, click the Add Video button under "Videos", add the code you just copied, and you got yourself a point.
(Both of those are Level 1 Permissions and can be done by anyone that passes the first quiz.)
3. Under "Things to Do" at the bottom of every page, the "Crop Help" section is where we approve/deny image uploads. I forget how many points you can earn here...something like 1 point for every 10 approved images maybe?
Building up Permissions to the point of being L6/L7 will open up so many other options, like adding checklists and sets, etc., but the ones I listed above will help anyone starting out and looking to be a bigger part of the community!
